“The results you keep are the ones you maintain between visits. This is that maintenance.”
— Rocco C. Piazza, MD, FACS
Board-certified plastic surgeon
Bioadaptive Stress Repair — BSR — is Pavise’s regenerative and reparative night therapy, described by the brand as a biointelligent catalyst for skin regeneration, repair, and stress defense, and positioned as the first daily topical biostimulator.
Why that word matters here
In our practice, “biostimulator” has a specific meaning. Dr. Rocco Piazza, MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Austin, Texas who places injectable collagen biostimulators as part of everyday practice. Those work by prompting your own fibroblasts to build collagen over months, rather than filling a space with volume.
A topical cannot do what an injection does, and we will not tell you otherwise. What this category claims to do is work along the same principle at the surface — supporting the skin’s own collagen synthesis nightly instead of all at once in a treatment room. That is a reasonable thing to want between visits, and it is the reason this bottle is on our shelf rather than a generic night cream.
What Pavise claims it does
- Enhances skin repair and regenerates youthful skin
- Combats oxidative stress
- Firms and sculpts
- Smooths fine lines and expression wrinkles
- Visibly fades dyspigmentation
- Reinforces the moisture barrier
- Calms signs of inflammation
Pavise reports that the formula supports collagen synthesis and fibroblast activity, neutralizes 80% of inflammatory reactive oxygen species, and doubles the penetration of its paired active technologies. Those are the manufacturer’s figures, presented as they were supplied.
The technology, as Pavise lists it
DiamondCore® · Sculpting hexapeptides · Reconstructive barrier complex · Cell therapy matrix · Dyspigmentation fade complex · Photoaging defense cocktail
Fragrance-free, vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free. Dermatologist and medical oncologist tested and developed.
How to use
- Cleanse — Pavise Gentle Amino Powerwash, then pat dry
- Apply — one to two pumps, face and neck
- Wait — let it absorb before anything else
- Protect — Pavise Dynamic Age Defense SPF in the morning
Nightly, on clean skin. Introduce gradually if your skin is reactive. This is a maintenance product, not a post-procedure one — after a resurfacing treatment, wait until your care team clears you.
What is in the bottle
30 ml / 1.0 fl oz · Regenerative and reparative night therapy · Evening · Lightweight serum · Best for firmness, lines and dyspigmentation
Frequently asked questions
Is Bioadaptive Stress Repair in stock?
Yes. Pavise is in stock and shipping now from The Piazza Center in Austin.
Is a topical biostimulator the same as Sculptra or Radiesse?
No, and it should not be sold to you that way. Injectable biostimulators are placed in the deeper tissue and work over months under a provider’s hands. This is a nightly topical that works at the surface on the same underlying principle — supporting your skin’s own collagen activity. They are complementary, not interchangeable. Ask which one your goal actually calls for.
Can I use it with a retinoid?
Both are evening products, so introduce them on alternating nights first and watch how your skin responds. If you are already on a prescription retinoid, bring it up at your visit before layering.
Morning or night?
Night. It is formulated as a PM therapy, and skin does most of its repair work overnight.
How long before I see anything?
Pavise’s own before-and-after documentation for redness and dyspigmentation is taken at four weeks. Collagen-directed changes take longer than surface hydration does — judge this one over months, not days.
Is it safe after a laser or in-office treatment?
Not immediately. Post-procedure skin follows a specific sequence and this is an active nightly therapy. Confirm timing with your care team before restarting it after any treatment.
Three months, on our own team
Kari, our medical aesthetician, ran the full Pavise regimen — including Bioadaptive Stress Repair nightly — for three months before we put it on the shelf. She went through an Austin summer on it.
Kari’s own photographs, taken at The Piazza Center. The cheek pigmentation field is marked on both frames so you are comparing the same area. She used the full Pavise line over this period, not BSR alone — we would rather tell you that than credit one bottle for all of it. Individual results vary, and lighting and skin hydration differ between captures.
What she reported at the end: a marked drop in pigmentation across the cheeks, no rosacea flares over the whole period, more even tone, and softer fine lines. That is one person on our own staff, not a clinical trial — and it is the reason this product is on the shelf at all. We do not stock something none of us has lived with.
If pigment or redness is your concern, the sequencing — and the two things most routines never address — is set out in The Pigment & Redness Protocol.
Claims, figures and clinical photography supplied by Pavise are presented unmodified. Kari’s before-and-after photographs are our own. Individual results vary. This information is provided for education and is not a substitute for the guidance of your treating provider.
Step two of the Pavise routine. BSR is the deliver step, and it works hardest with a cleanse that does not strip and an SPF that does not undo it overnight. All three together are the Pavise 3-Step Essential Kit; with Precision Eye Lift, the 4-Step.
