Why the eye contour gets its own step

Eye skin is thinner than the rest of the face, moves constantly, and shows laxity and dark circles before anywhere else does. Should I start with the 3-step or the 4-step?

If crow's feet, dark circles or under-eye laxity are the first thing you notice in the mirror, start here. If what bothers you is texture, tone or firmness across the face generally, the 3-step is the complete system and you can add the eye product later. Eye skin is thinner, moves constantly and shows laxity before anywhere else, which is why it gets its own step rather than more of the face serum.

How do I work the eye step in without doubling up?

Eye product first, on bare skin after cleansing, a grain of rice per side patted around the orbital bone. Then the face serum at night or the SPF in the morning, kept off the eyelid itself. Do not layer the face serum over the eye concentrate — they are formulated for different skin thicknesses and stacking them mostly wastes the more expensive one.

Can I buy the eye product separately later instead of paying for the bigger kit now?

Yes. The kit is priced at the exact total of the four products at MSRP, so there is no discount you forfeit by building up to it. Buying the 3-step now and adding Precision Eye Lift in a month costs the same and lets you judge the face routine on its own first. The only argument for the 4-step today is one checkout and one starting date.
