Clear breakouts and control shine in one step

ZO® Skin Health Oil Control Pads — formerly known as ZO Medical Cebatrol™ — are pre-soaked, triple-acid treatment pads for oily and blemish-prone skin. Each pad delivers 2% salicylic acid, the maximum over-the-counter strength for acne, alongside mandelic and glycolic acid to sweep away excess oil, decongest pores and help keep new blemishes from forming.

ZO describes it as a triple acid treatment toner that “reduces the formation of blemishes, normalizes oil and the appearance of pore size.” It is the step that goes on right after cleansing, morning or night.

Size: full-size jar of 60 pads — roughly a two-month supply at once-daily use, and under $1 per pad.

What it does

  • Decongests pores — salicylic acid is oil-soluble, so it works inside the pore rather than only on the surface
  • Reduces breakouts — treats existing blemishes and helps prevent new ones from forming
  • Brightens post-blemish marks — mandelic and glycolic acid support surface renewal
  • Mattifies — targets excess oil for a shine-free finish
  • Refines the look of enlarged pores

Who it is for

Oily, congested and blemish-prone skin. A practical choice for adult hormonal breakouts, teen acne, and anyone whose skin turns shiny by midday. It also works well as a maintenance step between in-office treatments.

How to use

Sweep one pad over clean, dry skin. Start once daily and build up to two or three times daily as tolerated. If dryness or peeling develops, cut back to once daily or every other day.

These pads contain alpha hydroxy acids, which can increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and the possibility of sunburn. Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen, cover exposed skin and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterward.
